When cold weather arrives in New England, we all want to stay cozy in our homes. After all, there’s no feeling quite like sitting by the roaring fireplace with a mug of hot cocoa! At New England Patio & Hearth, we have what you need to stay warm during the long, chilly months of winter.
Convert From Wood to Gas
When homeowners decide they no longer want to burn wood or deal with the fuss and mess of fireplace maintenance, they can convert to a gas-burning fireplace. We carry both vented and vent-free gas logs for wood-burning fireplaces.
What’s the difference?
- Vented gas logs have a bigger flame, but throw less heat
- Vent-free gas logs are 99.98% efficient, so you get $1 worth of heat for $1 of gas!
We ask that customers bring a photo of their fireplace to our showroom, so we can help them decide between vented and vent-free gas logs. We may ask:
- Is the fireplace vented?
- Did it work well with wood?
- Did it vent well with wood?
- Do the fireplace measurements meet codes?
- What do you want out of your fireplace?
We have solutions for convenience, ambiance, heat and more. Once you decide on vented or vent-free logs, we have a variety of traditional and contemporary burner styles to complement your existing decor.
