New England Patio & Hearth was recently featured on WFSB’s Great Day Connecticut! Owner Kurt Wabrek spoke with Scot Haney about our newly expanded showroom in Wethersfield. The store is now over 15,000 square feet with more than double that size in warehouse space!
Furniture Choices Are Endless
Family owned and operated, we have been selling beautiful outdoor furniture since 2006. Patio sets are our main inventory and there’s an endless variety of materials and fabrics available! From easy-to-clean cast aluminum and wicker to durable polypropylene plastic and wood, you can find the patio furniture set that fits your needs. We also display over 50 fire tables at chat, café or dining height.
Additionally, we have mixed media pieces that combine materials, like cast aluminum chairs with a woven vinyl wicker frame for indoor and outdoor use. We carry a wide variety of table options, whether you’re looking for naturally weathering wood that can withstand the elements or want to seat large groups with a built-in Lazy Susan for easy outdoor dining. If there will be kids on the patio, our cast aluminum “geo tables” are oval-shaped with no sharp edges for a safe, stylish option.
“We’ve become a destination location because we do have one of the larger inventories and we’re proud of the selection we have,” says owner Kurt Wabrek.
Outdoor Patio Accessories
Beyond furniture, we also carry a selection of impressive patio umbrellas. For instance, the 13-foot-tall outdoor umbrella from Treasure Garden is very functional. It can be flat, tilted or tipped to the left or right. As the sun moves, you can use the foot pedal to reposition the umbrella up to 360 degrees!
New Wethersfield Design Center
In February 2022, we acquired the space next door to our Wethersfield showroom, formerly Mila Fabrics. We’re now able to offer custom cushions, upholstery and drapes, created by the same employees from Mila Fabrics, in the same workroom.
